Repair of clothe

The clothes purchased at Onoda or otherwise depending on the item can be repaired.

Using different kind of yarn and fabric, I repair hole, stain, or tear artistically. It’s not only about repair, but also giving a second life to the clothe, while adding an history and extra value on it.

The price is very individual. Please bring it without binding and we can see together.

Or if you try to repair by yourself, you can purchase Sashiko yarn and needles at my neighbour shop, Mia’s atelier, who is vis-à-vis of Onoda.

Kintsugi Repair

For Kintsugi repair, I recommend my friend, Ursula Kaspar.

Based in Zurich, she repairs any ceramic, porcelain, glass, or even wood piece artistically with the authentic Kintsugi method.

Ursula learned Kintsugi and Urushi technique in 90’s from a master in Hida Japan. She has been Kintsugi-repairing more than 20 years.

Artistic fabric object

Using the fabrics available at Onoda, I sew objects on order, such as wall panel, Noren, and table mat.

Please note that I create them as an art piece, but not as a household item.
