Ukiyoe woodcut prints

The reprinted edition of masterpiece of Ukiyoe painters such as Hokusai and Hiroshige from Edo period (1600 - 1868) are now available.

The paintings are reprinted by the full use of traditional woodcut printing technique and realised by the same process which’s passed down from Edo period using the water-based pigments printed on Japanese Washi-paper.

Due to this detailed observation, Ukiyoe has also the aspect as an historical archive to help us to know how it used to be in that time.
