&INCENSE

&INCENSE is founded by Kunjudo, who is the one of the oldest incense companies in Japan, being inspired by the Japanese incense practice, Kōdō. 

In Kōdō, the scent is  listened using full senses of body and mind. &INCENSE opens a door to the experience as close as possible as in Kōdō, but in a simpler way.

In Kōdō a piece of fragrance wood must be heated with a charcoal in the ash which is for the most of us too complicated, whereas &INCENSE offers fine incense sticks that requires no special equipments - nevertheless, the scent experience is almost as tranquil as in Kōdō.

The incense sticks of &INCENSE are made of the finest materials. The blend has been meticulously refined to bring out each element.

The collection of &INCENSE consists of 3 woods, 2 resins, and 4 herbs:

Wood - Kyara, Jinkoh, and Sandalwood
Resin - Benzoin, Borneol
Herb - Patchouli, Star-anis, Clove, and Cinnamon.

&INCENSE is crafted exceptionally thin to bring out the purest aroma in order to fully experience the fragrance of raw materials. You can mix different kinds of fragrance as you like: for example, lit two or three different scent at once together to enjoy the harmony of mixture, or same incense sticks together to experience the intensity of single fragrance.

The brass incense censer and stand with three holes are available separately, that are exclusively made for &INCENSE
