within the scope of Craft x Tech, Onoda is going to showcase diverse Urushi-lacquerware from the Tohoku, north-east of Japan.

Period: 13 - 31 January
Region of Urushi lacquerware: Akita, Aomori, Miyagi
Item: tableware from Kawatsura-Urushi (Akita), tableware of Tsugaru-nuri (Aomori), two small cabinet of Sendai-Tansu (Miyagi), and one mini-cabinet made in the framework of Craft x Tech in the collaboration with Studio Swine (UK)

Please take this opportunity to explore the real traditional Urushi lacquerware which's been passed down to the present day taking over 800 years.
