Flower vase by Kae Takada

Kae Takada forms each piece by hand with clay, which is called Tebineri. This hand forming technique takes much more time than using potter’s wheel. Together with her rust-like Sabi glazing, the whole atmosphere creates a primitive, yet very sophisticated element.

Some years waiting is standard to get her work, but it was worth waiting to may present her work in this time of year.
