Sashiko repair

Sashiko repair on the hole of a fine cashmere pullover.

The request of the owner was to fix the hole with a decent, but visible appearance. I took a dark indigo cotton fabric, foreseeing of ‘‘aging’’ with a beautiful colour-fading. The combination of the white thread on a dark blue fabric is a kind of conventional pair, but by using different thickness of yarn, it can generate an interesting effect.
