This matcha is made by a family farm, Hayashi, in Wazuka, Kyoto, where is well known for most of Uji tea grown in this region.

Like Okumidori Premium, Asahi is also rich in Umami and suitable for Koicha. The difference between those two is a hint of bitterness - Asahi has it more.
