Most Di Ser perfumes open up with citrus note such as Yuzu, grapefruit, lemon, or bergamot, then move to either spicy, balsamic, or floral note, before settling to the base notes of earthy, woody fragrance.

Di Ser grows a native Japanese rose called Hamanasu in their home region of Hokkaido by themselves, which is mixed in many of their perfumes, as well as several herbs and flowers.
