Kyara is a gift of nature that has been nurtured over a long period of time. This is the rarest and the most precious type of agarwood, which is rich in resin.

Kyara has all “five fragrances” – sweet, sour, spicy, salty, and bitter and known as the main fragrance ingredient of Kodo (incense ceremony-the art of appreciating Japanese incense).

The resin is classified into five different types: green, black, purple, yellow, and white oil. This Kyara contains the highest grades of green and yellow oils giving a depth of aroma to create a fragrance with deep, ethereal sweetness.

*Since 6th century, most of raw materials used in Japanese incense practice is sourced from south and east Asia, and blended and refined in Japan.
