Glück und Gute creates socks that enrich body and mind
Having a German name, Glück und Gute is started by Ms. Hemuki in Yamanashi, Japan, dedicating to create leg-wear that follows the ancient principle of health, Cool head, Warm feet.
When the feet is warm and comfortable, the mind settles, thus the whole body relaxes. This mental change transforms the behaviour and look. Glück und Gute believes in a positive force that comes from feet.
The collection of Glück und Gute consists of 3 categories: toe-socks(5 finger-socks), Tabi-socks, and socks.
Toe-socks: they are ideal to keep each finger in the natural position, which in parallel helps better skin-breathing and circulation.
Tabi-socks: they help keeping the toe away from the second toe, which is especially helpful for improving of hallux valgus and can work also for prevention of it.
Socks: they are made with different natural fibres depending on season. Comes in a beautiful textile and colour palette.
On all of socks of Glück und Gute, a functionally necessary portion of synthetic material is used ca. by 10%. It’s used inside yarn, which means there is no direct contact on skin. Working closely with the craftsman of the socks manufactures in Japan, Glück und Gute seeks for a possibility of socks being made as naturally as possible without loosing the function as socks and the look as fashion.
