Taking a half-century to produce a sweet, heavy, yet warm aroma in the heartwood of evergreen tree of the Santalaceae family, this Sandalwood provides a lingering oriental aroma. The characteristics of sandalwood vary by region: the best sandalwood is known to be the one from southern India which has a mellow fragrance.

The heartwood which is near the root and oil aged for more than ten years are abundantly used to create this woody, elegant, sweet aroma of natural wood.
